Dartmouth Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Academic Endocrinologist to join our faculty in the Section of Endocrinology. This position offers a balance of clinical practice, teaching, and research opportunities within a collaborative academic medical environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of our endocrinology program while engaging in meaningful patient care, medical education, and scholarly activities. New graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply. Overview:
- Provide expert clinical care in general endocrinology, with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests in areas such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, and metabolic bone disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, primary care, surgery, and other medical specialties, to provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in research opportunities (as desired) and educational initiatives, with an academic appointment available commensurate with experience.
- Engage in program development and quality improvement efforts.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in endocrinology and internal medicine.
- Participate in academic activities such as lectures, conferences, and case discussions.
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the ABMS or AOA
- Ability to obtain/maintain a medical license in New Hampshire
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical activities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
