The Department of Radiology at Dartmouth Health is comprised of more than 60 highly trained radiologists, making it one of the most comprehensive and well-established imaging departments in the region. We are internationally recognized for our innovation, clinical excellence, and commitment to advancing the field of radiology. Our roots run deep — Dartmouth was home to the first clinical x-ray ever performed in the United States in 1896, marking the beginning of a proud and ongoing legacy of imaging leadership.
