At Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, we offer a starting salary of $259,400 for the Main OR, with increases based on CRNA experience, plus a $50,000 loan forgiveness program.

How Our Shift-Based Model Works:
- Full-time (1.0 FTE) CRNAs work 1,680 hours per year (420 hours per quarter).
- This structure allows for up to 400 hours of time away annually, or 100 hours per quarter.
- Time away is fully flexible as long as minimum quarterly hours are met — no PTO banks or accruals to manage.
- If a CRNA works above the quarterly minimum, additional hours are compensated at the Additional Shift rate at the end of the quarter.
- Extra shifts are available after schedules are published and are paid bi-weekly at the Additional Shift rate.
- Missed shifts (outside of approved leave) can be made up within the quarter to meet hours, offering flexibility without compromising coverage.
- Quarterly scheduling provides a clear and predictable planning structure.
